Marathi Bhasha Diwas Celebrations

Marathi Bhasha Diwas was celebrated with great enthusiasm on Thursday, 27th February, by the students of HFS International, honouring the rich heritage and cultural significance of the Marathi language. The event aimed to instil a sense of pride and responsibility among students towards the state language, emphasizing the importance of Marathi bola, liha ani shikwa (Speak, Write, and Teach Marathi). Students were encouraged to integrate Marathi into their daily conversations and academic pursuits, fostering a deeper connection with their linguistic roots.

The celebration featured a variety of engaging activities that highlighted the beauty and depth of the Marathi language. Traditional folk songs and vibrant performances enriched the event, paying tribute to the contributions of legendary Marathi writers and poets.

The event served as a powerful reminder of the need to preserve and promote Marathi for future generations, reinforcing the role of language as a medium of cultural expression and identity. The presence of the Head of School, Mrs. Kalyani Patnaik, added to the significance of the celebration.
