REPORT ON HINDI DIWAS

HFSI CAIE PRIMARY HINDI DIWAS -Report

Hindi Diwas is celebrated in India to commemorate the date 14 September 1949. On this day,the Constituent Assembly of India decided by one vote, that Hindi would be the official language of India, while drafting of the Constitution of India. A learner ofCAIE Primary grade 4, presented a speech elaborating how Hindi can unite the diverse people of India, during the celebration of Hindi Diwas on 13th September 2024 at HFSI.

The assembly commenced with ‘Saraswati Vandana’ presented by a learner of grade5. A motivational song ‘Itni Shakti Hamein Dena Data’ was wonderfully sung by our learners. Importance of learning one’s mother tongue depicted by a skit,stole the limelight of the show. A well-synced dance on an eye-opening song‘Hindi Bhasha Rashtra ki Bhasha’ was gracefully staged by our grade 5 learners.

Our 3rd graders, sang and played a ‘Bhakti Geet’on guitar. Harivansh Rai Bachchan was a prominent poet and writer of Hindi literature in the early 20th century.One of his famous poems was recited by a 5th grader.

Language and culture of any country plays an important role in connecting the people & helps in making a strong nation. Thus, the celebration concluded with a positive noteand fulfilled the objective to propagate and spread the language.
