Rotary Club of Mumbai event-Udaan 2024-25

On 20th September 2024, students from HFS International School participated in a dance competition titled ‘Udaan,’ organized by the Rotary Club of Mumbai Juhu. The event began with the ceremonial lighting of the diya by the Chief Guest, DG Rtn. Chetan Desai. The students were inspired by motivational speeches from the Chief Guest and other club directors. The mission of the program was to empower students to reach great heights in life, symbolized by the metaphor of an eagle—flying high with a sharp vision, able to spot its prey from miles away.

A highlight of the event was the warm welcome extended to students participating in exchange programs from various parts of the world, which added a global perspective to the initiative of empowering students through knowledge and experience.

Fifteen students from our school took part in the dance competition, two participated in the debate competition, and one student competed in the music category. Our dance team secured second place, competing against ten other groups from schools across Mumbai. The students chose a dandiya theme for their performance, dazzling the audience with their vibrant lehengas, cholis, matching jewelry, and striking makeup. The school's choreographers played a crucial role in guiding the students to this achievement.

Overall, it was a wonderful experience and an excellent platform for showcasing the budding talent at our school.
