HFS International is gives opportunity to every student to express their creativity, skill and thought process to develop their ideas, and present emotions. This year HFSI hosted the visual art subject exhibition for Smera Shetty, visual art student of the IBDP Program at school on 5th – 7th April, 2022.

The exhibition was inaugurated by Ms Kalyani Patnaik, Head of School, HFSI. The inauguration of the Art Exhibition was also enthusiastically attended by Smera’s parents and other invitee guests and staff and students of IBDP Year 1 and Secondary school.

Smera Shetty’s Art Exhibition “A look within”
Smear’s exhibition is centred on the theme “A look within”. As an artist what she loves the most is the ability to influence people. She want to resonate with the audience and evoke emotions or provide support. Artwork is like a message from the artist which is interpreted by the audience. Like words can comfort people, and bring contemplation; art can do the same. “A look within” is about introspection, and self-realization. It takes a pause and tries to look at what we may feel and experience daily. Through her exhibition, her aim to create a sense of introspection in the viewer's mind or resonance with their own emotion and thoughts.

It was an enriching journey in the art class for Smera and definitely a motivation for all who could attend the exhibit and see her unique art
