The HFS International School beckoned the IBDP-1 and IBDP-2 cohorts to partake in a University Fair held on December 5th, 2023. This event served as an opportunity for students to learn more about the various esteemed universities, comprehending the student life, campuses, and academic prospects offered by institutions such as VIA University College in Denmark, South Denmark University with campuses in Odense and Sonderborg, Instituto Marangoni spanning Milan, Paris, and London, the acclaimed IESEG Business School situated in Lille and Paris, holding a notable World Rank of 32. Furthermore, the fair showcased the ISM Business School with locations in Berlin, Dortmund, Munich, and Frankfurt, Germany, the Burgundy School of Business based in Burgundy, France, and the UE University across Berlin, Potsdam, and Hamburg, Germany. The students actively engaged with university representatives, participating in discussions, asking pertinent questions, and exploring potential academic journeys in s pecific fields. They expressed keen interest in the diverse program offerings, extracurricular activities, and international exposure provided by these universities. The students eagerly interacted with the esteemed guests, drawn to the knowledge and opportunities presented. Enthusiastic groups of pupils surrounded each university booth and engaged in lively conversations. They dug deep into the subjects and courses offered, discussing program specifics, faculty expertise, and the real-world applications of the curriculum. Thoughtful queries were raised about internship opportunities, global exchange programs, and the avenues available for research and development. The interactive sessions were not confined to mere program details; they extended to discussions about campus life, cultural diversity, and the vibrant community essence each university exuded. Moreover, the university representatives were impressed by the student’s inquiries and genuine interest in understanding the ethos and values of their respective institutions. Many representatives of the event shared anecdotes and personal experiences, providing a glimpse into the unique university cultures and the transformative impact on students' lives.

The University Fair proved to be an enriching experience for the IBDP-1 and IBDP-2 students at HFS International School. The fair facilitated a deeper understanding of various university options, allowing students to make informed decisions about their future academic pursuits. It fostered a spirit of exploration, curiosity, and eagerness among students to embark on their higher education journeys.
