Drama is a strong medium of communication and education. The students of Grade 5 prepared and enacted skits on heroes from the Girl Power book by Neha J. Hiranandani. The girl power book has a collection of short stories of women from all walks of life that overcame immense difficulties and emerged successful. These stories not only inspired them but also gave them an opportunity to experience a part of it on stage.

The students were divided into groups. They chose the protagonist and wrote a script around the life of the protagonist. They then practiced, directed and enacted the same. The students got an opportunity to display their talents and confidence on stage. The audience were the younger students of Grades 3 and Grade 4 who immensely enjoyed their enactments. The judges marked each group on different parameters and the winners were announced.
