Korea Quiz Competition

HFS International always encourages its students to spread their wings across the globe, and develop a keen understanding of different cultures and foreign languages. Recently, we were pleased to motivate our students to participate in a Korea Quiz competition. It was conducted virtually on 7th September 2020. Ten students of HFS International participated in the qualifying rounds of the quiz. Pursuant to the qualifying rounds, Ms. Anaya Gehi of Grade IX, IGCSE, was selected as the winner to represent the school in the final inter-school round of the quiz.

The final round was held on 22nd September 2020, in which more than 12 schools from Mumbai participated. The inauguration address was delivered by Mr. Kim Dong Young, the Consul General of the Republic of Korea in Mumbai. Ms. Park So-yeon and Ms. Park Eun-Chong from South Korea were the two judges for the final round.

We are proud to share that Ms. Anaya Gehi received a special prize and a cash prize of Rs 2000 for her performance in the final round. The school congratulates her stellar performance.
