REPORT ON INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATIONS - PRIMARY

A huge shout out to the budding learners of HFSI CAIE Primary for creating a fervid vibe, as students and teachers together celebrated the 75th Independence Day on Friday, August 13th. The young learners received their inspiration capsule from none other than the Head of the school, Mrs Kalyani Patnaik, who set the tone for the day. This was followed by the energetic learners speaking about their favourite leaders and legends.

Students were all dressed up for the event and took charge of the day, to share their ideas about freedom and Independence. The idea of an independent nation, where sovereign power lies with this younger generation to determine the future, was conveyed wonderfully by our bright learners as everyone was reminded of the relentless struggle of the great patriots who liberated our motherland. A plethora of emotions was created as all were reminded of the great sacrifices by the leaders of our nation. The importance of human rights, culture, dignity, respect and equality were also advocated through some of their speeches.

The month-long celebration of living legends was beautifully culminated by our learners leaving an everlasting impression on everyone’s minds.
