HFSI hosted the Rotary Interact Club induction for the academic year 2022-23 in the month of July. Hosted by Diya Acharya and Bhumika Tiwari, the event began with a reverent prayer followed by the lighting of the lamp. A heartwarming and inspiring welcome address delivered by the president of the Rotary club Ms. Kalpana Jaishankar briefed students about the significance of the Rotary club for humanitarian causes and how its activities enable collective action for social change in order to build a better society. Soon after, the nominated office bearers were sworn to office in an oath-taking ceremony as the newly elected student president Diya Acharya delivered a humbling acceptance speech on behalf of all the Rotary Interact club members at HFSI. The Rotary interact coordinator Ms. Vijaya Reddy introduced the chief guest for the event, Dr. Indumati Gopinathan and invited her to share her experiential wisdom with the students. Dr. Indumati Gopinathan delivered an inspiring speech for the newly-elect office bearers and motivated them to accept the challenges and responsibility that came with positions of leadership that herald the path for social impact. The event came to a solemn close with a vote of thanks delivered by the new student President Diya Acharya.
