REPORT - Virtual Alumni Meeting

27th December marks a Historical Event in the HFS International diaries. The School launched its first Virtual Alumni Meeting. The event kick-started with over 10 members joining the Meet & Greet, Mr. Dron Dasgupta, Ms. Naavya Srivastava, Mr. Shaurya Sriram, Mr. Akshin Byapari, Ms. Riya Singh, Mr. Harshit Joshi, Mr. Krish Thakker, Mr. Nikshay Doshi, Mr. Himank Agarwal and few others The event began with the address from the Head of School, Mrs. Kalyani Patnaik. She has been the Principal of HFS International since its inception in 2008. She refreshed the memories and shared the active role of alumni in programs in years to come and their dedication and sincerity for the growth of their career that will help them to outshine in the outside world.

Mrs. KP as she is fondly called by her students, emphasized the role of alumni in strengthening the school and stressed building strong bonds between juniors and the seniors for overall growth of the school. Alumni showed their solidarity in keeping the group active. The session progressed with the sharing of various nostalgic experiences. All the participants attended the alumni meet with great enthusiasm and made the alumni meet great success with the exchange of thoughts and ideas with budding professionals.

The Online Meet & Greet drew to a close, and the alumni bid each other farewell, promising to recreate this day again soon. They left feeling rejuvenated and refreshed, having enjoyed a delightful day spent in the company of good friends.

The meeting helped the alumni form some ground rules and also select the Secretary, Mr. Akshin Byapari, and Vice Secretary, Mr. Krish Thakker. Congratulations to them.

To conclude the day, the Principal thanked everyone for making it to the event and requested them to join all future events with the same gusto and involvement. She expressed it was also an opportunity for the alumni to network, " a small step to a great trail of legacy" and to give back to the school in various ways. The event ended with a promise to meet again next year, for yet another successful Annual Alumni Meet
