CAIE & IBDP 2018 Felicitation Ceremony


It was our moment of joy and pride when we felicitated all the students of HFS International who have emerged successful in the Board examination (CAIE & IB) this year on 10th August 2018. Through their incessant perseverance students who had come out with flying colours were given trophies, cups and certificates of merit by the Principal of the school, Ms. Kalyani Patnaik. Through the Prize Distribution ceremony, she conveyed this message to the students, which they are precious to the school and through their personal achievements they have been able to make the school feel proud of them. She hoped that they would through their incessant striving; continue to bring back laurels for the school. Her words of encouragement inspired all the students to attain success through hard work, sincerity and dedication.


CAIE AND IBDP 2018 FELICITATION CEREMONY

The day’s proceedings started with the school song followed by a poem recited by Mahika Hans of IB 1, the Cultural Secretary of HFSI. Thereafter, parents of the student scoring the highest in the IGCSE examination with 93%, Samyukta Nandan, gave away the prizes to the deserving students who had scored the highest in each subject. Next the IBDP Coordinator, Ms. Jagruti Joshi, announced the names of the IBDP prize winners and the Universities they had taken admission in. Maya Bhagat the IBDP topper with 44 points making to the Harvard University was felicitated amidst a loud applause by all present. Malvika Anand and Sattviki Rishi put up a soulful number to regale the audience and the strains of music permeated the entire atmosphere.


With the Head Boy, Akhshay Krishnan reading out the vote of thanks, the day’s programme came to an end. This grand celebration of success surely left an indelible impression in the memory of students awarded prizes. Undoubtedly, students preparing to appear for the next year’s board examination would be encouraged to give in their best to surpass the achievements of the students who have passed this year.
